We could name our trip "Mr Kiplings day out"
somewhere in my dad's loftdo yu all have CB's?
wont help yu on a lane up theresomewhere in my dad's loft
I'll get my screw drivers outwont help yu on a lane up there
I don't think my little 1.8 or my budget would stretch to rock climbing
When I get my laptop out I'll give the message thing a go... Would be cool to make the trips into a bit if a social though, meet up for brecky go on a trek then a pub lunch (or dinner if its a long road)
scrap that, I'll get the credit card out instead because after years of having more CB gear than a Smokey and the Bandit film sitting there doing nothing he's cleared it all outI'll get my screw drivers out
my walkie talkies' are Bitone with a scan function... Would that work? Been a while since I've practiced my 10 codeYou may be better getting a set or two of PMR's rather than a fitted CB.
Cheers

im gonna head up to shere on Monday check out the lanes there
Breakfast and lunch stops are always my favourite part of the trip, after 35 years driving all sorts off road, the attraction palls. I just do it to take people out and show em the ropes!
Prefer the food, the social, and my boat, tbh!
there useto be a fantastic pub down in kent right by the river
done a great sunday roast , sadly though it closed down
always the way, whilst out driving u think i will just pop into there, only to find its gone
boat, did u say boat , lol
Yep! Much better for me bad back than laning, plenty of nice canal side pubs for dinner!
shame as it seems many of them closing down
however the canals do seem to be making a come back,
think a lot of us have got bad backs, maybe it's the years of lifting out gearboxes etc from owning land rovers
dont like PMR's - causes a prob when there are several of you. CB's are better for laning.my walkie talkies' are Bitone with a scan function... Would that work? Been a while since I've practiced my 10 code
