Green lane from York to Robin Hoods bay

I've just up at the Park Wood Off Road Centre at Tong, and the marshall's told me about a lane running from York to Robin Hoods Bay. I've searched and searched but can find any info on it or coordinates. Can any one help?

Sorry it doesn't exist.

There are plenty of lanes in the area and someone will have a route from York to Robin Hoods Bay but there will be a lot of tarmac as well

Oh ok. Disappointed, as he said you never have to go on one bit of tarmac until you get to the coast. I thought it was a bit odd as York is still quite a distance away from the moors. Back to the drawing board then I guess.
