Hi, i was just wondering, i purchased my defender 90 200tdi 1991 H reg a few days ago and wanted to know if there were any grease nipples which would need topping up? If so how easy would it be to do and what exactly would the grease be lubricating? I'm going to buy a Haynes manual for it so to make life a little easier when trying to locate them. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. P.S would the landy need jacking up in ored to get underneath, it has a 1" lift kit fitted?

Well i'm not fat, just have a protruding belly and love handles, lol, no offence taken. Would i be best to look in the Haynes manual to find there location?

Terra Dog - Kinda related to your thread and where came a cropper with my 1st Landy. Dont just check engine oil. Do gearbox's, transfer box and diff as well. In addition - dont go to deep wading if you dont have wading kit....I did and my oils turned into "baileys" LOL
 
OK thanks for that K, I think i need to get breather pipes fitted, will i learn how to change all the oils with a haynes manual?

P.S did you get my pm today, am anxious to go off roadin, sorry for being impatient.

Good point about the boxes - my transfer box, and both diffs were empt when i got mine - had to fit a new tramsfer box before i learnt that lession!
