Guys I'm gonna have to drop out, work got me booked for calls in cornwall monday so sending me down sunday afternoon.
I'll bring my SWR meter and have a look if you like.
I wouldn;t use it at that feedback level though until it's fixed. It may wreck the radio. Is it new or 2nd hand?
Could be, but we'll try mine and see how that looks, will rule out any possibility of that then.
Could be the coil needs adjusting, or there could be a bad earth. They're pretty simple things to be fair. Will bring an artificial ground with me too.
May as well put the post code on here ... CV36 5DR ... it is Granby Farm at Halford.
With some sat navs this post code may take you into the village next to a pond (it did with me) so if this is the case you need to either go past it if it's on your left or turn around if it's on your right. You need to go down the road until you come to a small 3 way junction on a bend with a farm building on it. Turn left up here, go round a sharp left, over a small bridge and Granby will be on your right. CB channel 24 if stuck or PM me for my mobile number. Funkykipper, Bromsgrove Defender & Abarclay1800 already have it so if you know one of these guys you can get it from them.
Cheers.
Looked on Google Maps, and that post code seems to put you by said pond. A bit of Googleing revealed this P.C - CV36 5DP.
It seems to lead to 'the' Farm House, with the site being a little further up the road on the right (you can see it in satellite mode) just before that bridge you mention.
Would that be it?
So we meeting at th efarm or soemwhere first and going on mass??? What time is everyone getting there
Me and other Matt will be there about 10 I expect. We're meeting outside the Bull's Head pub in Brinklow just after 9am if you want to join us.
Andy, it's CV 36 5dp mate.
