Hi

I have fitted my defender 110 td5 54 plate with sawtooth alloys and bf 265 65 18 the tyres scrub on full lock can I install spacers ...... Will it stop this? anyone's opinion would they look better giving a wider stance too?

Regards Rhys

You can either adjust the stop locks, or add 30mm spacers.

In my opinion it looks better, though some people say it makes the bearings wear out faster. I haven't noticed this yet though.

Edit: and if you use spacers, make sure you use decent ones and use loctite on the bolts...
