Hi all, I'm looking for a Defender 90 with rear seats, ideally a soft top but not essential. This will be our daily runaround, so needs to be mechanically sound. I've been told to go for an 05/06 TD5 but I'm keeping an open mind. Budget is around £15k. I'm currently in the West Midlands but moving to Norfolk in a few months time. Thanks, Darren

Don't know if you're interested but I'm thinking of putting my defender 90 up for sale as it's not getting a lot of use these days. It's a 1996 300TDi, converted to a 6 seater from an original 3 seater county hard top. I've got a folder full of receipts as I spent a lot on it some years back. Went straight through its MOT this year, being a 28 year old car it's not perfect of course but it's in decent condition. Let me know if you want any more details!

Interesting, why is 05/06 better?
Didn't the road tax go up around about then?

I'm just going on what a couple of Land Rover "Specialists" have recommended but I'm open to suggestions within my budget. Must be a 90, have rear windows and seats.

Went over budget but got one.

lt's only £60 per month.

My friend is paying just under £800 per month PCP on an Audi E-Tron. It's dead money as he's going to have nothing to show for it after three years unless he starts another new PCP agreement.
