That said would i not have experienced something similar before now?

Rally cars have antilag which is different.

It is done thru mapping. I have heard the same before however that was from a tuner that didnt know how to do it.
not necessarily it might have been just about to happen, poor parts etc, though dropping the clutch like that with high revs is going to lead to expensive clutch and box bills unless your extremely lucky

Fair point tho its not often ill be doing that. More showing off.

That said the clutch has be designed for heavy use so should last!

Thinking about it even tho the master and slave where changed around a 18 months ago i have since done around 20 - 25k. Lots of traffic so lots of clutch work, not unheard of to begin to fail at that low mileage.

Thank you james.

Ok so got cracking today.

New AP Slave fitted
New TRW Master fitted
New Dot4 fluid and bled the system

I adjusted the clutch pedal so it was 140mm exact off the floor but it felt like the biting point was far too low. Equally and a small crunch in 1st/reverse when doing 3 - 4mph.

Redadjusted the pedal which now sits at 150mm and feels much better, as it did before. Any reason for the discrepency?

Other than that after some short drives doesnt appear to be slipping anymore which is good. Luke at LOF has been excellent in helping me, really grateful.

Drive to work tomorrow will be the real test!

So 50 mile drive to work, mixed country lanes and motorway.

Got me there and back fine, puing well, ot slipping but it does still feel a little off. As if the biting point is a little low and it feels as though there is a fair bit of free play on the pedal before you hit the biting point.

Maybe just being paranoid....
