Got an mot and now it's dead

give the relays and fuse box a good wiggle, the one next to your right foot wiggle as you try turning the key ,i was scratching my head for a while ,turned out loose connections

It's not my house so il have to try all this on Monday.its doin my head in tho

so what ive got is no power at the glow plugs and now power at the glow plug fuse either.but i have got power up to the glow plug relay.could it be the glow plug relay and would the glow plug relay not working make the glow plug light not come on

Wouldnt it still turn over if the glow relay was dead? Always thought a diesel would start after a while even with dead glow plugs? Could be wrong tho. Hope you get it going soon man.

Have you tried bump starting it. Sounds like your starter given up.. Will still turn over if glow plugs are shafted.

If its not turning over then it wont be the glow plugs as the starter will still spin it over. Try just putting it in gear and rocking it backwards and forwards, sometimes this can be enough just to turn the starter a little and change its position and it might work.

Alternatively get someone to give you a tow and try and start it, if this dont work get them to tow you all the way home.

I'm about 95% sure it's my immobiliser spider.been having a proper read up and the symptoms that causes is when it's broken is exactly what has happened to mine.
