3 door will be easier and cheaper to find than a 5door unless you're really lucky like nellie was. £1k should get you a g/h/j reg 110.

gd gd well ive been searching ebay, autotrader this site and LR4X4.com for a 3door and its just impossible to find anything with atleast 6months mot in the south area for £1000!!!!

Depends where you look/who you're cheeky to..

Mine's a 110CSW 1988 with 9 months MOT on it when I brought it for a lot less than a grand

ye but he dont sound very mechanically minded!its alrate buyin a cheap motor if ya dont mind sortin everything ya self,but if yuv got ta pay out everytime summat ****s up it'll tun inta a wallet hoover!

hehe well no im not clued up to it yet, but i am mechanically minded and part of the reason for buying a landy is to learn how to sort it out wen the **** hits the the fan!!!

When the **** hits the fan it gets thrown ALL over the engine bay, much better to replace the viscously coupled engine driven **** fan with a switchable electric one :lol: :lol: :lol:

So up ya budget, or be prepared to travel, or find a mechanically minded friend and buy one with less MOT.

im 6"4" and when i take my foot off the acellerator my knee hits the steering colum and i have to bend funny to press the brak.this makes me slow so I have a range which i fit in.
