BBC News - Illegal off-roading is 'disaster for habitats' in Wales

Fair enough really but a shame something like this goes out without some input from GLASS or TL to help differentiate between legal/responsible and muppets

Fair enough.

My thoughts are while I've not got a problem with anything that was said in the report without input from responsible 4x4 owners it just links '4x4' and 'disaster for habitats' in the minds of most people.

An example of truthful but biased reporting.

A GLASS or similar rep would have agreed with the NRW comments and cast the report in an entirely different light

Yes but whoever commissioned that report wants maximum negative publicity so the less GLASS type people they interview or facts they include the better the shock factor.

Sad but you can see why they would do it.
