Well then, the grateful young hitch hiker could educational for him - ooh, unless he's under 16, in which case I'm shutting up right now....

Well after an 8hr trek, (M6 shut grrr) we have made it, all hooked up and ready to make our way home, avoiding Stoke like the plague

Well made it home on one piece, 8hrs there, 7hrs back:confused:,
Over 520 miles in total
Done 440.00 and had to fill up, @£95.00 so guess that's not to bad, considering 180.00 of those were towing
The car ran fine, no issues at all, I took a boot full of spares and tools, and didn't need them:D
As for the CB there are people that still a few people who use them, mostly up north though,

So all on all a good day, abit a long one

RAC membership :)
LOL I was wondering if anyone was going to post that!
And always use Google maps for nav, free and you get very accurate traffic info!
I also have a couple of tyre sealing cans as well.
I do around 2K miles a month, Bedford to Scotland again next week and Fort William and back two weeks after that.
Check your water everyday. Oil every 250 miles.
Mark

Yes, I must admit, that I was pleasantly surprised that it made it, not only made it, but I reckon it would have just gone on and on

BUT........
It does seem to have a small leak, steering/suspension fluid all seem fine though as they always have been.
This was after about an hour of being parked up, it was a red fluid
Any ideas
