going away for a week anything i should do before hand?

Hi peeps I'm going away for a week and leaving my p38 diesel on my mums drive is there any precautions I need to take?

Condoms and a shilling for the phone call to the embassy.

Too late now, but, always a good idea to NOT advertise the fact on the tinterweb

leave the keys in the ignition so ya mum can move it if they need to,dont worry it will still be there when you get back

have a pikey knick it while you are gone collect on insurance, they buy a real land rover a defender

Don't tell you'r mum where you put the keys. Some muthers are well dodgy these days

Alternatively, lock your mum in the landy for the weekend as a theft deterrant Just remember to leave the window open a few mill to let some air in, and leave a large bowl of water

Wouldn't worry to much it probably won't start after being left for more than a couple of day's and even if they did manage to get it started it'll probably brake down at the end of the road anyway

sometimes i find it necessary to lock the wife in the car.for some peace and quiet.
problem with leaving the window open in the summer is you get bugs flying in and setting off the alarm.

Just a few sensible precautions, ignore these other advices. Firstly remove the wheels and leave it on bricks, remove the battery, engine, gearbox and both front and rear transmissions. Dismantle the interior and lock all the parts in various lock-ups throughout the County. Finally, lay some land mines round the perimeter of the shell. I think with these small precautions you will be able to relax on your vacation. Have a nice one.
