P38A Glow plug connector corroded

Thanks Brian all sorted now. Unfortunately now running like a dog. Revs erratically especially pronounced when crawling along. Also get an engine warning light as revs jump about. don't know if it's a broken lead or pipe to a sensor.

Look at number four injector for damaged wire or bad connection.

Will it run on default values if no 4 is disconnected altogether?

No limp mode will be active.

There is a little black wire running up between the plugs that had a little chaffing as the white inner could be seen.. What might be damaged there that would cause this behaviour
