So far so good, niggles getting sorted slowly, just fitted Synergy 2, well happy with that!
BUT....continually suffering intermittent misfire!
Usual thing, EML comes on, running rough, then clears.
Fuel pump changed before I bought it, changed fuel filter, has to be injectors!
Whilst digging just moved injector connector on pot 1 (belt end?) and started running smooth!
No matter how many times I reseat, spray with GT85, eventually it starts again.
From experience suggestions please
1-buy new, £63 + vat from Craddock
2- buy used from Ebay, I know it's s risk, but considerable saving, or are they for sale as been replaced!
3 - can a replacement connector be sourced from anywhere?
4- go with option 2 and just cut splice one of the 4 plugs off the replacement loom in?,
Currently using slithers of plastic to wedge the wires in the connectors, works ok, looking for permanent fix!
Any thought appreciated!
