Using our Disco for taking the muckout trailer down to the bottom field for emptying, the track down to the entrance to the field and the gate areas are quite deep in a almost liquid mud, And I am slipping and sliding all over and on a couple of occasions I have been stuck.
I have GG AT2's all round and they seem to clog quick and lose traction. I have been thinking of getting some Insa Turbo Sahara tyres.
Anybody have any experiences with Insa tyres? Would they be better in the liquid mud than the GG's?

Thank you,
Andy.

try a tractor, if the conditions are really bad, not even a landrover will get trough! don't kid your self!
unless you are happy putting ruts all over your field????

IMO in mud the tyres are only 25% important, more important is that the TC to work as it should and the driver to know what he's doing... btw do you have bigger than standard tyres? do you have factory fitted CDL? see here that the tyres type are not the main factor, it's more important to be standard dimensions

You do need to give it some but dont go mad, Tc puts the brake on spinning wheel so will tend to pull engine revs down

bloke in his 90 got stuck in a field with a trailer full of logs,
he came to our caravan & asked me if i could tow it out,
i went down with my 300tdi disco & parked where the ground
was firmer,i then walked the best route i could find to get near to him,
i told him to unhook the trailer then went down to him,the disco pulled
him out easily & then i pulled the trailer up the hill,i find it best as many
on here will agree is to find the firmest ground by walking it out..
