Hi, just finished a few mods to the 300 Tdi Disco, started out by adding silicon turbo hoses, then removed the EGR and blanked that off, next was a K&N filter, followed by a twistedperformance intercooler, and finally - well up to today added a Safari Snorkel to force some air in there. All this works really well in fact so well that my breaks are starting to smell a bit hot! Does anyone know if you can changed non vented front discs for vented discs without having to change the callipers?

Thanks for that, nah wish I had won the lottery but do have credit cards :)

So I assume you split the calipers and insert the spacers? to gain enough room for the vented discs, umm suppose I better get prices for new calipers to compare against.

Cheers

Just found that you can get discs to fit where non vented ones live. they are the same width, but they drill and slot them.

sounds ok, should give you the extra stoping power you need, not sure on how well that will keep them cool. but must be an inprovement.

dont know what sort of price you've been quoted, paddocks do a pair for 40 quid +v.a.t. part no : frc7329sd.
