Geographically sorted off road page

Just a thought. Whenever a group get together to do some off roading they will normally (not always, i know) be from the same geographical region.

Dunno if it would be a good idea to have an off roading area sorted into a few (maybe 8 or so) geographical regions across the UK (with of course a general one for other trips etc) just so...

firstly threads of fun off roading experiences don't compete for first place on the general off road forum

Secondly those members have a good record of what they've been up to and can post pics etc, so it's easy to access a sort of "diary" of the regional fun

Thirdly so newbies or people likely to be on hols in those areas can quickly go to the forum for those areas and see if there's anythign planned, without having to do a search which might confuse them

Fourthly it would mean that there wouldn't be the need for people to start new freds about things unnecessarily coz they hadn't done a proper search, or had but hadn't seen what they were interested in on the first page so posted anyway!

Only thought this as when you use the general area, there's going to be so much that isn't relevant - and it wouldn't stop people coming into the separate areas and taking the ****, which is one of the most important and fun things about the site!

So we need a T*O*S*S*E*R bit, a C**T bit and a S*L*A*P*P*E*R bit, then the Scottish boys cun set up their own club, an the North East boys cun set up their own club, and the middle bit dun't matter cos no one lives there. Sorted! Oh, mebbe a Norfolk bit. They cun all sort their own names out. But they has ter be in keeping wi LZ tradition, an the initials MUST spell summat rude.

Scottish Highland & Island Trail Exploration Squad.

Even better HB, spot on! The bit in the middle can be the "anywoon furra kipper tie" bit!

This would also mean that off roading and green laning sections could be together.

Oh ok, apparently people live in the middle bit.................but they dun't count.

Anyways, someone pops up about once a quarter & suggests organising things. Wun't work & nevva happens. People on here just aren't disciplined enuff to put things where they're 'supposed' to go.................& thank feck for that!

If I wanted a clip board I'd buy one. Personally, I like the chaos.
