Is it a cure for erectile dysfunction?

You never know!

I can remember when the heriatge first came out and I was shocked at how ugly the colour was, but now I quite like it (age!) it does have a weird looking grill though, maybe because it is body colour.

If I were that way inclined I'd spray my heap Keswick Green, I'd fit a shooting hatch in the roof and wire in a Nespresso machine.

Bought my first Defender 90 from these 4 years ago, Now it was my own fault for paying them and driving away in it. Looked as good as this one on advertisement, They had loads in for sale.
12 months MOT. decent paint job fully wax oiled ect, ect.
I knew nothing about them then, Got back, home after a few days things started to play up, electrics, bumps and rattles, Took it to local Garage and they could not believe it just went through MOT and Passed.
Holes in Chassis covered up with thick wax oil, springs and shocks ready to just about fall off, black smoke pouring out of engine, oil leaks everywhere. loads of other faults.
Was told by Garage that it was Unsafe to drive. I know its my own fault for keeping it but I really should of took it back and reported them. but never mind I kept it and spent a fortune fixing it.
Anyway what I'm saying is Do Not Buy from These.
If I remember Just before I bought it I posted on here to see if anyone knew anything about them but don't think anyone did. https://www.tandtmotors.co.uk/used-...=DEFENDER+90&make=LAND+ROVER&vehicleType=cars

In all honesty if you want to learn how to fix up stuff and become more confident doing it whilst building mateship on here just buy the damn thing. If you want a gleaming 90 in gunmetal grey marry a lawyer or become a vet and run one as the brat mobile. I took a chance on mine and like everyone elses its a basket case and requires loads of maintenance every year, but I do it and enjoy it. Some folk have even said they are jealous I have the thing.

Looking closely at all the sub£10k stock they're all high mileage poor prep'd/maintained, they all appear to be covered in body/chassis crap...most have had a cheap blow over and a liberal coating of silicon spray to the interiors
yeah agreed, look sto me like only the outer faces of the chassis have had attention, and the inners look ropey.

Touched up externally just for sale and thats it

Well, you’ve all certainly put me off that Land Rover.
Which is what I wanted....advice from experts in this field.
But the guy who was looking for one, thought it looked “great”. So a lucky escape for him there.

@lightning , as per @border above, the majority of sub £10k Landies look fine until very close inspection...and the majority are a pile of crap and will empty your bank account in no time. Sub £6k and it's very rare to a decent one that doesn't £1000's to bring it back up to scratch. Chassis condition is paramount, followed by bulkhead...bodywork and mechanicals are easy but can be expensive. The trick is to buy the very best you can afford and, like many older/classic cars, the only way they stack up financially is if you can repair/build/maintain/yourself; which is all part of the fun of our old buses.

I saw this advert some while ago. My guess it's a £5-6k truck as it looks in very poor condition up top...and we know what that means to under bonnet, chassis condition and maintenance levels. Plus, it would be a brave man who buys from a dealer who advertises "Cheapest Vans in the UK Guaranteed - LHD & RHD Cars Available"

And looking at their other stock these guys are living in cloud cuckoo land...£6,995!o_O:eek:

Why is this not selling? Sure it’s a bit tatty but £8,995 for a late TD5 XS SW? It’s been on sale for months.

I would hazard a guess thats been used as a commercial vehicle, roof rack, washed out with a hose so god knows what it is like under them rubber mats.
Tbf it is a good looking machine, a/c as well.
Sadly its on the cusp of turning, ie it really needs a paint job.

That is the same seller I pointed out in a post above, the green 110:D

The white 110 has been well looked after! also a 54 plate does not equal a 2017 model, imported 2017 maybe?
DL54BCO mot fail sheet.

Ha, the MOT status says it all. Like the other two, the white 110 has not at all been looked after, it's near shagged and will need a good amount of money to put right. I use a radar twitching rule with Landies...what condition is the inside rear? It never fails...take a close look in the rear, it's lived a hard life and not been looked after. It's near guaranteed the rest of the truck is in same/poorer condition. Radar twitch is also a heads up when an advert fails to show engine/under bonnet condition. A good vendor with a Landy in properly good condition will show the under bonnet. And as for the asking price of £15,995 :eek:
