Genuine alternator belt, 2 years old is it ok to still use it?

Hello everyone, I have a genuine alternator belt sat in the garage for the last 2 years in a cool environment and in its packaging, would it be ok to use this still or is there a shelf life kinda thing? Thank you

Some say there is a shelf life (maybe 5-10 years), however if it looks good I'd use it.

They keep stuff on yhe shelf at the motorfactors longer than that
