Iv bust my oil cooler leaking again. Bashed it earlier today weeping through the passage ways the fins attach too so it's scrap basicly. Iv been offerd an aftermarket one thats a row bigger and slightly deeper too. My question is since i can have this nearly brand new one for 20 Is there going to be any reason i cant use this over a standard l/r one. Also could i remount it infront of my cooling rad to prevent this happening again?

Absolutely no reason why you shouldn't do all that. As you'd probably have to replace the cooler and the pipes anyway you'd be mad not to at that price. It's just a radiator when all's said and done so as long as it's got a decent airflow it'll do it's job.
The only thing that occurs to me is height. I'm not sure how high the gearbox could pump it's oil to reach a rad so, unless anyone knows the answer, I'd try and keep it fairly low and the pipes as short as sensible.

As long as you fit the pipework you can put the oil cooler on the roof. :D:D

As long as its safe too and i wont kill my box with extra fluid. Away to see what else iv damaged know the plastic grill is out of the bumper in the boot now. Ran over yhethe pikshaft shunting around in the field
