L322 gearbox fault

Hi all i have a fault showing on a 2004 4.4 litre Range Rover l322
fault mechanical torque converter monitor fault, any make any suggestion on how or what to do. I have cleared the fault several times but it shows again shortly after.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Could be that the lock-up clutch is malfunctioning. You can replace the complete torque converter without having to open up the transmission, but the transmission has to come out unfortunately. A re-manufactured torque converter costs around £250 (exchange).

A less likely cause is a faulty EDS4 solenoid.

Yes just confused, just had gearbox oil changed and 30 miles after issues started by it going into to low gear ratio then loosing all drive, now total loss of confidence in the RR.

Was the gearbox filled properly they are complicated, take it back to the place that did the change if it was ok before.

Yes the correct process was completed and they used the correct fluid opposed to others places i tried who would only use Dex 3 as that is there normal stuff.
I do trust the garage who done the work completely. I have been back there and all has been checked. They advised a gearbox centre because they dont know enough about them to deal with the issue. Also fault P0741converter clutch circuit and P0720 speed sensor circuit fault. I have used Snap on for these errors and the other one is from BBS MSV-2 machine.
