I'm now taking the Disco. Was originally going as gate bitch, just so I could go as we're up in Hawes anyway for a fortnights holiday, but one of the group drivers dropped out so I'm taking his place.
I tried to sound suitably upset for him, but couldn't help feeling pretty pleased!
done it mate same as every road in bradford foooooooooooookedif you fancy something similar .. but on tarmac ..
( and relatively free of potholes
try .. 'thornton lane' between Ingleton and Dent
similar road width .. bends .. gradient ..
( no warning signs for the steep gradient .. which is at the north end of the lane
( i.e . descending if your driving from Ingleton towards Dent ..
. I would love to do Gatesgarth in my TD4 Auto, have done Parkamoor & in a few weeks plan to do Stile End, a very steep tricky lane that leads onto Gatesgarth, if that goes ok I might ask if they will bend the rules a little
