gas

hi all i have a 87 jeep cherokee with the inline 6 its been sitting for a
few months and when i tryed to crank it it would not start i checked the
gas and fire and then changed th spark plugs spon it over a few time and
than pulled them back out and there socked with gas what would cause this

You need three things to get it to fire: Fuel, compression, spark. start with that.
