Hi 50 pence
its all new chassis, though about recon a good second hand, but may as well do the job right. there are mental plates behind rear wheels above the mud flaps there galv as well.
worth doing she only has 88000 on her. was big decision but will last for ever now.
Thanks DiscodriverCumbria, aye its kind of pushed me in to an enthusiasts mode as ive spent all the money on it and to sell it your not getting the enjoyment out of it. still in two minds to sell or not to. we will see
cheers
The reason I ask is I have bagged a " wax oiled from new " chassis from a breaker and am having it acid stripped and galved. It is also a 3A chassis which matches mine. I'll be doing the swap myself using block and tackle from a barn roof.
Hi, is a v8 chassis the same as a td5? As I have the chance of a mint v8 chassis and my cars a td5
Thanks
Sam
i suppose if you did this to make money, you would not have to be in a rush to get a return, as you would have to have a buyer who understood and wanted a D2, but if like me you like your D2 that much i suppose then we are all 'enthusiasts', but money is the biggest thing, but like yourself and derwentdolly, Gemsdad etc who have gone down the line of the new chassis, it's either you do or you don't, but all depends if your going to keep it or not,
Good job!!!
Is that a service that James is continuing to offer?
better ask james,or you could just buy my td5.
You are determined to sell that Disco Gems. My guess is it will be a good one for whoever gets it.
