Sorry I couldn't resist...
I dun like the swan neck, looks gay (no intended insult to thems) and sticks out too far. I got a stubby one it's great for reaching in boot when lower gate won't open or you can't be arsed, and dun catch you shin! Found a nice cover for it in spare wheel space too

Plugged the thing in to the heap of **** today and nothing..
Looks like it's more serious than first thought, and to add insult to injury the drivers door is locked and i can't open it, even from the inside..
Tempted to use my oxy torch and cut it open.

I've learned there is an earth that runs from the boot electrics all the way to the front door outstation (drivers I think?) It is known to fault and cause problems with ...

You can check it for continuity to see if that is it, but I don't know how as auto electrics are a dark art to me
