l've got one of those X-Eng pedal locks that hinges up from the floor and covers all three pedals completely.
l thought this was pretty secure but have just read an old thread on here where it was said that the thieves can easily bypass these/drive the vehicle away (surely not with it still fitted?)

lt's had the modification plate to make the actual lock more secure a couple of years ago after a weakness was discovered. Was this the issue?
Can someone PM me with the weakness of this type of pedal lock, and if there's a way to improve it?
l watched CCTV footage on Landywatch a couple of years ago where it took four scumbags an hour to get one of these locks off the pedals on a 90 TD5
