Fuel tank wanted for defender 90 mines bloody leaking from the seam I think, based in west yorks so the nearer the better n as cheap as poss please, just spent a small fortune on it today! Pm me with what you've got

Mandy - fwiw (for what it's worth) get some JB Weld. It's a kind of metal epoxy resin. comes in 2 tubes, just mix a bit together. If you can get to the seam, then plaster it on, preferably without diesel slopping around it whilst its sets (maybe jack the Landy up on a corner?).
It worked a bloody treat on my motorcycle's fuel tank! :cool:

I know the stuff did my bike casing with it lol might have some left actually can give it a go as a temp measure if it sticks with all the crap on it! (Will attempt to clean it)
 
iv got a tank but its not defender, its from a hot rod, will need a return fitting to it as it only has a feed which is gravity fed, does have baffles, located leeds
 
Paul Thanks for the offer but need to fit something straight forward as probably me that will be doing it n fitting a standard tank is hard enough for me lol
