fuel tank pump access hole in 2000 DEF 110

Live in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire.. just come back to Defender ownership and have just bought a 2000 (W) defender 110 utility which I intend to keep so will be spending silly money on it when funds allow. Need to change the fuel pump so could anyonne tell me the measurements to centre the access hole I will need to cut.

Is it that hard to drop the tank and do it properly?

I am sure it isnt with two able arms, and under 70 yrs of age !!

I just removed the tank, with the use of a pit and it was a PITA.
Luckly I dont have to worry about the broken bolts and can sort them later when I get replacement pump (the 90 runs LPG)
I did contemplate cutting the whole and found a few vids on the tube, 1 showed the measurments.

Hi and welcome!

As mentioned, YouTube and guides online are available. I’m sure a kit can also be purchased to make a hatch to access the pump. Good luck with it.
