Greetings,

Defender 110's fuel tank breather hose has multiple splits on the end towards the fuel cap and completely torn loose on the other end on the fuel tank.

I might consider replacing it with a rubber hose of similar diameter and length if the price is too high.
I've highlighted the hose in the attached diagram. Can anyone provide a part number for this, and what are the implications of running without a breather hose?

Thanks in advance.

I think mine is damaged blocked too.

My 110 periodically loosed power on long motorway drives. ( eg, to the Alps and back!)
It recovers after I've pumped the accelerator. I suspect it's a vacuum build up in the fuel tank ( any other suggestions Landyheads ?)

So I suspect you really do need air to get in and I wouldn't run without a one. Suspect any pipe would do as long as it the right diameter.
- get one from an aquarium shop!
Also note the fuel cap has a little ball bearing valve in it - this need to work ( not be blocked) to let air into the filler pipe, where the breather - er - breaths in from.
