Fuel stop under fast acceleration with auto gear box

After a serious engine failure and it’s complete replacement, our beloved fl2 td4 now encounters strange power cuts, feels like fuel stop during fast acceleration. When reaching the next point for the automatic gear box to shift to next gear e.g. from 3 to 4, it seems like the engine does not get any further fuel. As a result, you get really a kick into your neck before it goes on to accelerate. Never had this problem before. No errors stored when starting diagnostic tools.

Any ideas more than welcome

Was the replacement engine identical to the broken one?

Sure, replaced only the block and refitted everything else back

Sounds like a gearbox problem...

Solved, had to replace the common rail pipe as the integrated sensors delivered wrong data. In addition, there is a magnetic ring ( don’t know the name of it) we also replaced. These two together did the trick
