My rover runs and idles pretty well, its strong on accelerations, and runs well under heavy throttle.. Well at least for a little while. Under extended periods of heavy throttle, it starts to cut in and out. Most often this happens on hills, when cutting in and out is not only annoying, but dangerous.
My thought is that the fuel in my carbs float bowl runs out, and my pump isn't working hard enough to replace what is being used. I have a weber 34 ICH carb, and a brand new mechanical fuel pump.
The fuel filter never fills up, not even half way, not even a quarter of the way. It always has just a few drips of gas in it. It's very unsettling to me.
Is there a way to up the fuel pump's pressure? Or do I need to just make the swap to electric.
Thanks all,
Kyle
