Thanks for your help yesterday, very much appreciated. No only is it easier with two pairs of hands, two heads but also your knowledge and persistence.
By the way all, GV is working for himself now doing shotblasting, so spread the word, he can do do complete bodies and has a 44ft bay and knows his onions. So all those resto's that need blasting, drop him a line !
NB: in answer to the OP and the problem; after static timing, after tracing everything back it turned out that the wiring diagram on the Lucas kit was incorrect. GV uncovered the error:clap2::clap2:
