Hi
Have been having problems with my partners LWB diesil it started first when I went up a hill it would stop .I bled it and it was fine till the next time I live on a small island and we have to go up this hill often so to try and cure the problem I change the filter still no joy then drain the tank which was very clean considering the years it may not been drained.
Still no joy so I change the lift pump and then the fuel line from tank to lift pump all were sealed with sealant and still it persist on the flat it fine but each time a incline it sometimes stops no warning just stop and restarts no bleeding couple of tries and away she goes.
Have check the stop control and it is always right in
My partner is the main driver and is getting very despondent at it letting her down.
Any advise would be welcome

Hi
For the 79 people that have look at my problem I think I have found it the fuel sender pipe had a pin prick hole in the tank side notice it after i did a pressure test on it .
Will keep my fingers cross that this is it .

the hole in the fuel pickup pipe is a common thing if vehicle has been parked for an extened period as it rusts the pipe at the fuel air interface only just seen your orig post as would have suggested this problem as classic symptoms

Is this hole really noticable or does it take a pressure test to find it? The reason I ask is that mine does the same thing on 3/4 of a tank of fuel and I inspected the tube but found nothing.

It could have been standing for a very long time we have had this one a year brought it up from south two owners 29,000 and most of it time off road on a large estate just used to take the guest about hunting shooting and fishing .
