fuel leak

hi help needed leaking fuel lots
2.25 d. tracked it down to under the ac cabel where the cabel goes on big spring other side that make it move seems to come from this
after wiping it clean it says lucas cv on the pump and its on front side on the engine not at the rear like my 109
when i ceaned it nice green paint under

told its a CAV pump might be a o ring ????
any ideas what this is

Are you talking about a lift pump and not the injection pump, if it aint any of the pipes then replace it, sure the ac cable aint chaffed through the pipe.

Job for a clean off, torch and mirror.

found out its the cav injecter pump accelatrater spindle (poss o ring ) phoned few places to see if they do a kit told by them it as to goto a fitter was told of one in chesterfield told be around 100 pound (is this cheap as told it might onlt be o ring but they told me it needs full gasket set on the pump

now told its the 2.5 went from 100 to 450.
