Fuel filler cap lock change

I have taken the fuel filler cap a part to change the lock but can not see how to get the barrel out. Can some one explain how to do this?

get a new filler cap, they are only about 10 quid ffs

Thanks for the advice but I want to keep the same key for all of the locks so I am not carrying lots of keys about.

i think if you go to the dealers they will order a new cap that has the same key as your landy

hmm, but on a td5 it is already two different keys. small key for fuel and large key for ignition. what difference will it make?
