Fuel economy through the floor

If the water in the header tank is pink it is more than likely antifreeze. Dip your finger in the water and taste it, if it tastes sweet it will be antifreeze and not diesel. As for the fill level it goes upto the joint about half way up.,

Ok topped up to half way. Tasted horrible a mixture of bitter and sweet.

does your oil smell like diesel?

200tdi fuel return, just below that 'thingie' on top of your injector pump


Find it and follow it to the tank, checking for leaks on the way

Also check these on your injectors


All four injectors should be joined with the same pipe



Eres anuvva pic of return pipe.

Look under drivers seat, you will find an inspection 'thingie' lift that up and you will see the top of yer tank


One near the front of vehicle is yer return, middle is the feed, that bit with wires on, is yer sender unit.
