P38A Fuel consumption

That fuel consumption was done never went over 60 no time on back of a recovery truck cheers data if anything had gone wrong you would have heard about it before now I’d have been on for advice

I'm very impressed, I've had 3.5 110, 3.9 Classic Range Rover Vogue, and 4.0 Discovery 2 all V8's and never had more than 14 to 16 mpg on petrol

Long term average on mine is 24mpg and close to 30 on a long run at 70 mph with brim to brim checks every fill. However I don't do many very short runs, usually 25 to 30Km with no traffic. In the UK it drops to about 20/21 with the traffic in the south. I always have the aicon on too.
My project P38 is doing 22 mpg, but spends some of it's time on diagnostics burning fuel and does more short runs.
