Mole grips.
Great. That is the info I was looking for. Could not find anything in the manuals.17/32" is 13.49mm. 14mm would round off the head, 13mm probably wouldn't fit. 9/16" wouldn't be far off but again the risk of rounding the head off. If you could get hold of a 1/4" Whitworth socket that equates to 13.34mm and might be a better bet.

Not a hope of getting in at them.Mole grips.
14mm or 9/16ths are perfect the holes are slotted so you only have to slacken them though you could remove them fully except top one ,it helps to start them first before fitting wingGreat. That is the info I was looking for. Could not find anything in the manuals.
Many thanks.

Hi.
What size Bolts secure the wings to the bulkhead on a 1884 Series 3 FFR.
Thanks. Chris.
Ha Ha, good spot!1884 Series 3 ? I thought they only started making Series Threes in 1901 !
If you own an old Land Rover, you really need a set of these:

I bought a set to remove calliper bolts on my 90 they were brilliant, I wondered how I'd not heard about them and how I'd survived so long without them. They do a metric set and an imperial set, I ended up buying both sets so I'm fully equipped when the need arises.
Very sharp indeed. Although, I thought the 1st Series were produced in the mid 1950s.1884 Series 3 ? I thought they only started making Series Threes in 1901 !
