front tints..........what you think?

This is where people fall down, most windows already have a tint, even when they dont look like it, they normally have a glare tint to them and when 30% tint is applied it can actually be considerbly more...
 
Mine are tinted. I bought it like this. Personally I like them as being a "girl" they look very nice against the silver paintwork. I have to say they do restrict vision a bit and my local garage who look after my landy muttered "not legal".....Front windscreen is factory tint though, front sides bit darker, backs dark.

if you carried around over £2000's worth of chainsaws and climbing gear youd tint the windows too ya clever ****,as for a van should you have one kicking about for 400 quid coincidently what i paid for this disco ill have it. now take ya clever comments to another post who actually gives a **** about your opinion

so is they legal? And if tealeafs want in they'll have it-if only to have a look to see wot ya got.
 
i live in a good area and usually work in nice areas, never had any attempt breakings, tints are good as when said tealeaf cups hands to window they leave a nice impression of their palm side print which the police love to collect to run against pnc. the rears were already tinted when i bought it ive just done the fronts, back to my original question i was not asking for if they were legal, just the general concensus of what people think. plus if you have a van it serves no great purpose as a family car, and same re vans, they will still break in just to have a look

plod wont take the prints. As long as there safe i dont care. My number plate was "ilegal"

So! you come on here asking what we think of your stupid window tints, then you tell us all it's to hide over £2000 quids worth of chainsaws and climbing gear, then you try to convince us all you only paid £400 for the Disco. What's to stop some thieving ****er looking through the front screen to see what you have in the back of your vehicle. :rolleyes:
 
i paid 400 as it needed alot of welding clever ****! i would love to see you look through the front screen and see behind the rear seats, you superman? nope didnt think so just another dogsbody trying to be funny. epic fail springs to mind pal

i spent 3 months on traction because some chav with tinted windows pulled out infront of me on my motorcycle in broard daylight the prick got out and said the classic line sorry mate i didnt see you!
