thought i had a water leak out of the water pump gasket so set about going to put a new gasket on this afternoon when something occured to me that it couldnt be that as the water was collecting above the water pump. stripped the alternator, air con pump and power steering pump off dried the pool of water out and left it half an hour. after going back to it found water back there again, so it would appear that the front cover gasket has gone. now my question is how complicated is it to replace this gasket. ive looked at rave and it would seem that i have got to take the sump off as well to do this gasket. the pain of it is last week i did an oil and filter change.
