I have a strange noise coming from the front offisde wheel area of my L Series 5 door. Anys suggestions would be appreciated.
If I did not know better I would say it sounds like someone has left a couple of marbles in there and they are rolling around!! - it only seems to happen when I am moving and also only when I am turnig left and then again when I straighten up, no noise when turning right.
I have seen smiliar posts on here which point to track-rod ends etc but would like an idea as to where I start looking.
I love my Freelander but in 20 years of motoring I have never had a car which makes so many weird different noises on a daily basis, some of which seem happen only once and then disappear forever, wou end up drving around with a permanently perplexed look on your face trying to work out which part of the engine, transmission, suspension and drivetrain it is coming from and mentally calculating how much it's going to cost - I guess it's all part of the 'Freelander experience'
