Front suspension noise.

I seem to have got a lot of cluncking and rattling coming from the front suspension strut on my old defender 90. I think its coming from the top of the strut.any help would be greatly appreciated as to what it may be and how to fix it. many thanks.

Yup what James said. Unscrew the black plastic cover over the shock turret in the engine bay to check top of turret for serious corrosion.:scratching_chin:
