Front shock alignment issue

So today we started fitting the 2 inch spring spacers to my 300 tdi discovery. Removed the front ARB (surprisingly easy) removed the minus2 tubular turret along with the plus 2 shock. Spacer fitted in and all back together... but now the shock runs on the front of the turret.!!!
Will this come back inline once we have done the other side?
Will the cranked front arms pull everything back in-line?
Is my truck bent haha?
Planning on fitting a pair of standard hight tubeular turrets soon.
Any advise please people...
