is it just me, or are they really uncomfortable? Maybe my drivers seat is worn out and knackered, but it doesn't look so bad.
No matter how I adjust the back or lumbar cushion, theres no (or wrong) support at the base, I get terrible aches at the top of my hips :( Maybe I just need a small cushion to fill the void at the seat base where the back pivots

Does yours have a lumbar support kermit? I dismantled my front seat to find that one of the supporting struts for the seat had skewered the pump electrics, and shorted the whole thing out. I redid the wiring etc, but tit still doesn't work : o). If you want to boost the base then you can remove the cover and put an extra layer of foam in. The seat back is a bit more of a PITA to get at, but I'm not sure that the same foam trick wd work in the lumbar zone.

Also oddly shaped, in that I'm 5'10 with only 29" legs. Trying to find clothes that fit can be a challenge!!

Drivers seat feels comfy initially, i only notice it some time afterwards. Passenger seat feels very similar after a quick 'try'

The front part of the seat is the softest..

Atleast on mine!

P38 is far superior to most LR's in terms of comfort and space..

The P defo has more room for the driver than the classics..

I could drive the beemer to Italy and get out feeling fresh as a daisy. Well, if it survived lol.
I have to have the p38 seat as low as it will go and forward so my knees almost touch the kick panel, or I'm struggling to reach the pedals.
The classic was comfier

My impression, and it might be just that - is that if you raise the seat base even just a couple of cm you will get a lot of spring back. By lowering the base "to the floor" it seems to firm up significantly
