I’d like to make the front of the car appear a little more aggressive, was looking at nudge bars on eBay, but they’re all the same style!? Anyone have any aftermarket bars fitted?? Does the freelander have an aftermarket parts website?
Also, I’m open to any other recommendations for mods?

Regards 'mods' I think that some of the members have a fair point when they mention things such as tyres etc before you start 'laying out' on the cosmetic stuff.
FL 1's have some specific issues that, if not looked into could end up costing you a lot of money. Probably the most important is the condition of your tyres. It is recommended that you firstly confirm that you have the exact same tyres on each 'corner' by brand and specification. Secondly you need to check that, of those tyres, the less worn tyres are fitted to the front axles....if the tyres are in roadworthy condition, obviously. The drive system on the Freelander 1 can be seriously damaged if this is not carried out. Mixed brands, wrong specs etc will destroy items of the drivetrain, that, collectively may be more expensive than the initial outlay of the car. The drivetrain, specifically the IRD(transfer box), VCU and differential are all susceptible to damage as well as the gearbox.
My first purchase was 4 X tyres.....the destruction of the components mentioned above can happen over a relatively short period of time.

If the car is running 'ok' then, depending on what model/engine, the next steps for helping to mitigate future problems are to be found on this forum, using the search facility (sometimes not easy to do for a 'Newbie' ;-) failing that drop questions in a new thread. Been there, done that (fairly recently)... Keep your 'chin tucked in' though as some forum members can seem cynical and sarcastic at times but bare with them as they know more than ANY dealership and many specialists too (I can see my 'likes' count soring)
Worth looking on 'The Tube of You' also for some info...but remember, some 'creators' on there can be down right dangerous...
I have progressed from having an immaculate(on the surface at least) facelift TD4 on purchase, to a lumpy running, dangerous beast, back to a car that is very much liked by myself and my daughter...it has taken a few hours of 'wielding' the spanners to get it there...and there is still a bit to go...
The 'shiney bits' can come later....
