You said you were selling yours so your opinion shouldn't count. LOL, good to hear from you. I still can't make up my mind. I thought I had made my choice until I went and saw my Defender in the paint shop. Its been sprayed Aintree Green. In certain light it looks almost black, in the sun its a very dark speckled green. My thoughts are that for a more modern color perhaps I should go with a face lift front grill.I also hate the KBX ones
I was going for a silver grille and surrounds until Sarah talked me out of it, I'm glad she did as I saw one the other day and it looked terrible! You said you were selling yours so your opinion shouldn't count. I quite like the Nakatanenga grill, was looking at them only last week, think I quite fancy one for my project.
But we'll see, I'm not one for straying too far from standard.
I'm surprised no one was interested. I thought they were going like hot cakes. I'm planning on doing the Pyrenees around May time and Morocco later in the year.I finish up working the end of April so I will have plenty of time.I was going for a silver grille and surrounds until Sarah talked me out of it, I'm glad she did as I saw one the other day and it looked terrible!
The KBX ones may be acceptable in Matt black, but only just acceptable...
Anyways, I'm not selling my 90 now no one was interested!
I'd love a Cummins in mine it would pull really well.Says he with the lorry engine
A 200 tdi that works does the job fairly well. You'l find out once you get yours sorted. I would imagine having a Cummins with all that power would crunch things like diffs etc.I'd love a Cummins in mine it would pull really well.

Love mine, wouldn't want anything else.A tdi in fine fettle and an appropriate amount of tune is surprisingly responsive. Love mine.
They do seem to attract attention. I had a guy stop and ask to buy mine because it looked tidy for original. I told him I don't spend one day a week maintaining it for nothing.I'm surprised no one was interested. I thought they were going like hot cakes. Mine should be ready tomorrow, but I have heard that for the last few weeks. I will put the old grill back on and make a decisions then.
All sounds good to me.The only manly choice is original.
Anything else is like women with caked makeup, heels, tango-tan, and bleached hair.
Hey, what color is yours? I had mine resprayed Aintree Green.Re-Spray started
All sounds good to me.
Which website is that? Nothing comes up when I do a search. Was that for a Standard Defender grill?FYI Just returned from the Nackerthingy website, pleasantly surprised at the grill prices...so bought one, £55 all in delivered. One thing that is interesting is their l/h wing vent lockbox.
