I am about to admit defeat and book the sod into a L/R garage. One of them states; 'the price we quote is the price you pay'. Magic!!
Question is; what is the official time given for this job, I aint got access to Autodata and the web hasn't thrown owt up. Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks, Peter.

Why ? They are a simple job to do. Much easier with the rad/slam panel out, nice time to pressure wash the muck away and get the satisfaction of doing the job. There is most likely a thread on the job if you do a search. You may have to drill out the rivets holding the mud shield on, budget for a new crank pulley (£10/12) if yours is worn where the seal runs it is a waste of time just doing the seal. Allow yourself a day if you haven't done a similar job before.

You get plenty of clearance with just taking the rad out with no need to disturb any of the body panels. Just work through the gaps in the slam panel. You might as well change timing belt while you're there as well
