Front bumper holes

Cheers fellas guess the answer is "I dunno!" I know the drilled holes on the end of the bumper are for end caps. Drainage would sound right. Thanks for the banter anyway

Land Rovers are full of holes anyway. If I didn't know mine was supposed to be a vehicle, I'd probably guess that it was a colander or some sort of doily. Holes on Land Rovers transcend crass notions of utility, they're an integral art of the beauty. When Land Rovers are damaged, and you look at what has given way, it's always the metal and never the holes, which just goes to show that the holes are stronger than the Land Rover, same as when paper doesn't tear along the perforations. Asking what holes are for is to miss the point.
 
yes you are right. what is a defender without holes? Rust everywhere except my holes. I am gonna keep em. Growm quite attached to em:)
