Front Brooklands Bumper Removal

I need to remove the front brooklands bumper from my 94 LSE. I can't figure out how the ends come of. They are attached by black clips at each end (edge of the wing in the wheel well) with bendy metal bits on the back. I've tried bending these straight but it's still held in place. Anyone know how to remove the bumper?
