Disco 2 Front ARB Bushing bracket....HELP!

Further down the rabbit hole changing out the suspension on my D2 and having had an interesting couple of weeks with the shocks and springs, i now have a new problem. HOW the hell do you get the arb bushing bracket back on????
Getting it off was a bit of a sod, but after i had replaced the bushing for a LR original part, i cant get the bracket back on. its getting the back of the bracket in to the pocket that is the problem.......im guessing i am doing something wrong because everything i have read has said it can be done in less than half an hour. 4 hours later and i am stumped with no idea how to get the bracket back on.
Has any one done this and has any words of wisdom?

You may need to provide a photo for us to be sure of what you mean, but it should be "just" a matter of prising the relevant bit of the ARB forwards or backwards to get it lined up.

Will supply pics tomorrow because im at a loss and the rave is scant on instruction.

I think I remember that I fitted the bkt to the bush first after rotating the bush so that the bracket was lined up for the tab to be pushed the slot. It's then a matter of pushing the bracket onto the retaining stud while rotating it around the ARB.

Thank you Pawl, the advice ed me working out a system to do it and after several more hours today i managed to get the bloody things done! in the end i used a bottle jack to put pressure on the clamp and then used a dead blow hammer to tap it in to place so i could get the bolt through and up to torque. What a carry on.....why couldn't the guys at land rover just use a bolt on either side rather than this bizarre 1 bolt and a flap system? below is the method i used should anyone else need to do it.

1 remove camp and old bushing
2 clean everything with a wire brush and if needed replace the clamp (if the camp is reasonably ok, take a Dremel to it with a flap wheel to clean it up and make the surfaces for the bushing as smooth and clean as possible)
3 put new bushing on (poly bush will be a very very tight fit, LR original will be a snug but easier fit)
4 push clamp on to bushing and rotate until end is in side the flap
5 using a pry bar, move the sway bar back so you can push the clamp over the bushing again (it will be kind of half on and half off at this point, and will look completely f****d)
6 using a bottle jack, apply a LITTLE pressure to the part of the plate where the fixing hole is, position the tip of the jack head on the plate so you can still get access to the bolt hole
7 pump the jack up so the plate starts to head towards the mating surface. when you can get the bot in and thread it on a little by hand and stop pumping the jack.
8 using a half inch drive ratchet with a medium extension bar and a 13mm socket (6 sided is best for this i found) tighten the bolt up hand tight so the pate
9 Torque up to 45Nm
10 smoke em if you got em.
